This listing is for a Mid-Victorian or American Civil War era corset (1850s to 1860s). The corset can be made out of basic, floral printed, or satin coutil. Basic coutil can be left plain or covered in brocade or dupioni silk (shown in pics 1-3). The edges are finished with cotton or silk bias tape. The corset laces together in back as well as closing in front with a riveted busk. The corset is stiffened throughout with 1/2” spiral steel boning and the grommets are reinforced with spring steel. The corset can be trimmed around the top with cotton beaded lace and a ribbon color of your choice.

"Exactly as discussed, fit beautifully, love it, thank you!"
"Absolutely the most beautiful thing I have ever seen or worn. Totally worth the wait. Thank you so much."
"Comfortable, wonderful craftwomanship, would order from this seller again"
"There are legitimately not enough ways to say good things about this corset. The craftmanship is superb, the corset was beautifully packed, and it shipped exactly on time with regard to her estimation (possibly a bit early, actually).
It's quite a bit heavier and sturdier than I expected (in a good way!) and is a wonderful foundation piece for a historical costume or wardrobe. I almost feel like I cheated, getting it during a sale because it is absolutely worth paying full price for.
If I need any further items for my historical wardrobe, I know I'll be returning to this shop."
