This listing is for a Custom Order Victorian or American Civil War mourning corset (1850s-1860s).The corset can be made out of basic black cotton coutil (shown in pics 1-3), floral printed coutil (pic 4), satin coutil, or coutil covered in dupioni silk. The edges are finished with cotton or silk bias tape. It laces together in back as well as closing in front with a riveted busk. The corset is stiffened throughout with spiral steel boning and the grommets are reinforced with spring steel boning. The corset is trimmed around the top black poly-lace with ribbon running through the center.
