About Product:

This listing is for an Edwardian "Gibson Girl" S-bend corset. The corset can be made out of basic, floral printed, or satin coutil. Basic coutil can covered in brocade, dupioni silk (pictured), or custom silk. This corset uses bust and hip cutouts to create the S-bend shape. The edges are finished with cotton or silk bias tape. The corset laces together in back as well as closing in front with a riveted busk. Unlike Victorian corsets, the S-bend corset is stiffened in front with straight stalks of spring steel boning then spiral boning through the sides and back. The corset has detachable garters at the bottom for hose and is trimmed around the top with Venice lace.

"Beautiful custom corset! Beth's work never disappoints, I will be back for more!"

"So worth the wait! Stunning craftsmanship and quality and oh so incredibly comfortable ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"With some trepidation, I took my own measurements and sent them to Beth with my order. She was great about answering my questions, and clear about when my order would be completed and sent. It arrived the day before yesterday, and is gorgeous! It is comfortable to wear, and gives that extra historically-accurate touch to my Edwardian-inspired outfits. Thanks, Beth!!"
