Corded Petticoat
*~*PLEASE NOTE MY ORDER POLICY- With a little one in the house, I’m only able to work part time so space in my schedule is extremely limited. Check my Shop Announcement for up to date info on my order schedule and to learn how the order process works!*~*
This listing is for a corded petticoat for either a Romantic Era or Mid-Victorian/American Civil War silhouette. It is made of white kona cotton, closes in back with a skirt hook, and the hem is stiffened with a total of 12 cotton cords. The first 8 from the bottom are spaced 1/2" apart and the final 4 are spaced 1 1/2" apart. The corded petticoat pushes skirts away from the body while giving a softer line than wire crinolines, which makes them ideal for being in close quarters or spending time around the camp fire.
This corded petticoat can be adjusted to fit the 1830s-1840s silhouette by adding braces to the waistband! Please contact me if you have any questions!
