Readymade Mid-Victorian Hourglass Corset- 30" Natural Waist, Pink Dupioni Silk
This listing is for a readymade mid-Victorian or American Civil War corset (1850s-1860s). The corset is made of white cotton coutil covered in a delicate pink dupioni silk described as "black cherry." The edges are finished with handmade silk bias tape and the top edge is trimmed with white cotton lace. It laces together in back as well as closing in front with a riveted busk. The corset is stiffened throughout with spiral steel boning and the grommets are reinforced with spring steel boning.
